Joe is a passionate racing fan who developed a love for the sport at an early age. Joe holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and an MBA in finance. During his time in public and private accounting, Joe formed his own consulting group; but after eleven years he decided to switch careers and join the RTIP Master’s program to fulfill his dream of working in racing. While completing his degree, he worked at Rillito Park as chief financial officer and simulcast manager and interned for the New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA). Joe also wrote racing articles for the Little Red Feather blog.

Additionally, he developed performance metrics which facilitated monitoring of the business’s projects. Recently, Joe was promoted to Director of Simulcasting for NYRA.  In his new role he deals with contracting, compliance, and administration. Joe also works on special wagers, setting post times, improving margins, and securing new revenue streams for the organization.
